Spring 2009. The rotten baseboards at Nine Elms were replaced. Since the trackbase between Nine Elms and Brambleton was wide enough for four tracks, we decided to quadruple this section of track. This avoids having points at Nine Elms; previously these tended to get trodden on when the shutters on the station building were being put on or taken off. Thanks, once again, to RB Plastics of Batford for providing the plastic for the track base.
Nine Elms will have four blocks to control (once they are built), so the operator should be kept fairly busy even without any points to control.
